Canadian Express Entry Migration Program The Canadian Express Entry Migration Program (EE) is a new way of doing Immigration to Canada. It is an online program. It brings in people who can easily integrate into the society in Canada and also contribute to the development of the economy. This program is based on a point system where candidates with higher points will be selected for admission as immigrants before others. The objective of this program is to bring talented individuals who can make significant contributions to Canada’s economy, society, or culture. The high-skilled permanent residents under EE must meet certain criteria: You should start by making sure you have a good profile on the Canadian express entry system. You must pass certain eligibility tests and meet up with requirements. You must also receive positive results from your education credential assessments (ECA). Your language tests must come out clean too. From January 1, 2015, candidates under Federal Skilled Worker Class, Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Trades Class who satisfy their own criteria’s will be accepted into a pool of candidates under EE. Candidates interested in EE would have to go through thorough background checks, criminal record checks and medical examinations. An Invitation to Apply (ITA) will be issued not more than 120 days after being selected through the draw. The Applicant will have 60 days to send all his documents requested into the Immigration authorities of Canada after receiving the ITA. If everything works well with your application, you will receive Permanent Residency status in Canada within 6 months.
