Terms And Conditions

Our service terms and conditions are as follows:
1) Our fees are charged per individual. Family packages are available ONLY for Visa application services. Family is defined as Husband, Wife & Children under 18 years. Siblings, Children above 18, extended families etc are treated as separate application
2) We receive and treat all documents sent to us with high confidentiality. The documents are only used for its intended purpose.
3) Our job is to help prospective students apply for study placements available in foreign countries and monitor the process rigorously until a decision is received. Scholarships may be available and can either be full or part depending on the providers of the scholarships, and this crucial information would be conveyed to the applicant in the initial stages to enable the applicant to make a decision on which scholarship route to take. The study abroad service charge entitles a ‘client’ to three applications only which could be in three different schools in the same country or three different schools in different countries which are exclusive of university application fees if required.
4) School Outside also accompanies students who are below 18 years of age to their various study destinations as their guardian until they have been properly settled into university. Parents or guardians of minors must ensure full disclosure of salient information concerning their wards that will make delivering this service smoother as School Outside will not be liable for consequences arising from withheld information.
5) School Outside is not responsible for the decision making of universities or institutions of learning, the scholarship body, visa application and any other services provided. Decision as to whom the study admissions (either via scholarships or not), internships and visas are awarded to, lies solely on the awarding body or issuing authority. Hence, we would not be liable for any admissions (either via scholarships or not), internships, visas or any other services we provide that were declined. However, with our professional services and years of experience, you are better placed to receive a favourable response.
6) Once your Study Visa / PR / Tourist Visa has been approved we provide per-departure and arrival counselling before you embark on your trip abroad, and also for those who are about to depart their cities of residence to another city within the same country. This is only available to those who book for our Study Abroad / Visa Application Services
7) Service charges billed for all services are non-refundable. However, when tuition fees are paid through School Outside, and for unavoidable reasons tuition fees need to be refunded, we will process the refund but the institution may deduct a certain percentage before refunding. This means that the total amount you paid as tuition fee may not be refunded.
8) If submitted documents are falsified, you will face the consequences of your action which could be between 14 – 21 years imprisonment and bear in mind that your admission, visa or any other application will be withdrawn / cancelled without any refund. School Outside is not involved in illegal business, nor does it assist its clients in falsifying documents that may constitute visa fraud.
9) Refund Policy
The Client acknowledges that the granting of a visa or status or job offer and the time required for processing this Application(s) is at the sole discretion of the government or prospective employer and not the Service Provider.
[9.1.] Regardless of the outcome of the Application(s) or the purpose of retaining the Service Provider’s services, any amount of Professional Fees already paid for the work performed and services rendered will stand non-refundable. Any Professional Fees paid for work not performed will be refunded. Please note that the Professional Fees are for the process, the Service Provider’s expertise & experience, the Service Provider’s time, the Service Provider’s efforts and the work involved, NOT the result/outcome.
[9.2.] If, however, the Application(s) is denied due to an error or omission on the part of the Service Provider or his/her professional staff, the Service Provider will refund all Professional Fees collected. The Client agrees that the Professional Fees paid are for services indicated in this form or our website and refund is strictly limited to the amount of Professional Fees paid; and
[9.3.] The Service Provider will not refund any of the Professional Fees charged and shall be entitled to full payment of the Professional Fees as per this Agreement if any of the following occurs:
[9.3.1.] The Client does not cooperate in/when filling the Application(s) with the provincial or government authorities or prospective employers, or provide necessary information needed to complete the applications within the set time given.
[9.3.2.] The Application(s) is withdrawn by the Client at any stage;
[9.3.3.] The Application(s) gets rejected due to false information, misrepresentation, fraud, medical or security inadmissibility or failure by the Client to adhere to the terms and conditions of this Agreement;
[9.3.4.] The Application(s) gets rejected due to the Client’s withholding relevant information at any time during the processing of the Application(s) or at the time of interview with a visa officer at an embassy, consulate, or port of entry;
[9.3.5.] The Client does not cooperate in the finalisation of the Application(s) and its requirements;
[9.3.6.] The Client fails to satisfy the immigration officer of his/her age, educational level, occupational experience, qualifications, language abilities, or truthfulness of information submitted; or
[9.3.7.] The Application(s) gets rejected for breaches of security, criminal convictions or pending charges.
10) Preparatory classes are scheduled for one month. However the facilitator and the applicant determine if they require extra month(s) to be better prepared for the test.
11) School Outside can assist with registration for IELTS, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL and other international tests, either for a fee or for free if the client signs up for any of our services. Unless on the basis of severe health conditions (backed with pre-information & medical reports) or acts of God, we do not accept cancellations after tests have been paid for and scheduled. We encourage you to be certain you need the test(s) before you book.
12.1. Once signup has been done and payment received, mode of communication will be primarily via email which you will receive a response within 5 working days.
[12. 2] We reserve the right to change these conditions from time to time, and your use of (all or any part of) our services following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility and you agree to check with us or visit our website regularly to be updated on whether the Conditions have been changed.
If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you would ask for a service cancellation without any compensation but would still be bound by the existing conditions of the existing service.
